Background The West Virginia Veterans Nursing Facility (WV VNF) is seeking bids to establish a contract for Filters, Filter Services, and Filter Disposal specifically for Roof Top Air Handlers. The goal of this contract is to ensure the facility has the necessary filtration systems in place to maintain air quality and operational efficiency. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing the following items and services: 1. Monthly Filters: - 8 units of 20-inch x 68-inch x 1-inch filters - 4 units of 24-inch x 61-inch x 1-inch filters - 2 units of 20-inch x 60-inch x 1-inch filters - Filters must be made of polyester woven material with a MERV rating of 14 or greater. Delivery must be included, and old filters must be disposed of by the vendor. 2. Six Month Filter Service: - Installation and provision of: - 10 units of 24-inch x 24-inch x 4-inch metal filters - 5 units of 20-inch x 24-inch x 4-inch metal filters - 12 units of 20-inch x 20-inch x 4-inch metal filters - 12 units of 20-inch x 24-inch x 4-inch metal filters - These services must occur every six months, with delivery, installation, and disposal included in the price. Period of Performance The contract will commence upon award and will last for an initial term of one year, with options for renewal upon mutual consent. Place of Performance All services and deliveries will take place at the West Virginia Veterans Nursing Facility located at One Freedom Way, Clarksburg, WV. Bidder Requirements Bidders must possess a valid West Virginia Contractor's License with HVAC classification. Additionally, vendor staff must pass drug screenings and criminal background checks prior to working on-site. Vendors are required to provide proof of insurance including Commercial General Liability Insurance ($1 million per occurrence) and Automobile Liability Insurance ($100,000 per occurrence).
