Background TriMet is seeking qualified firms to provide Garbage, Recycling, and Composting Services at all TriMet facilities located within the Portland City limits. The goal of this contract is to ensure efficient waste management and promote sustainability through proper disposal and recycling practices. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive garbage, recycling, and composting services across all TriMet facilities. This includes the collection, transportation, and disposal of waste materials as well as the implementation of recycling programs. Specific services include: - Trash Disposal Services (Commodity Code: 22190) - Waste Collection (Commodity Code: 04065) - Collection and processing of recycled paper (Commodity Code: 18020). The contract will require a total bid price for a five-year period. Period of Performance The contract performance period is set for five years, commencing upon award. Place of Performance All services will be performed at TriMet facilities located within the Portland City limits. Bidder Requirements Bidders must be registered to do business in the State of Oregon through the Secretary of State's Office. Additionally, bidders are required to answer questions regarding their past government contracting history, including any suspensions or debarments.
