Background This solicitation is issued by the National Park Service (NPS), Southeast Region, for a firm fixed price service contract aimed at HVAC preventative maintenance, functional testing, and recommissioning at the Mammoth Cave National Park Visitor Center. The goal of this contract is to ensure high efficiency of the HVAC systems within the facility. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks under this contract: (1) inspection, testing, and recommissioning of Visitor Center HVAC systems; (2) preventive maintenance and cleaning; (3) specified component replacements including condenser fan motors/blades, VAV controllers, FCU fan motors, CO2 sensors, thermostats, filters, belts; (4) limited chilled water loop leak repairs as described in the Statement of Work; and (5) providing reports, documentation, and conducting a final walkthrough as outlined in the SOW. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract is from March 20, 2026 to September 18, 2026. Place of Performance The construction projects will be performed at Mammoth Cave National Park Visitor Center located at 1 Mammoth Cave Parkway, Mammoth Cave, KY 42259.
