Background The Navy Region Southwest (NRSW) Qualified Recycling Program (QRP) is issuing an invitation to bid on the sale of Fiber & Plastic (Bales) located at Naval Air Station Fallon (Fallon, NV). The purpose of this contract is to facilitate the recycling of materials as part of the Navy's commitment to environmental sustainability and waste reduction. Work Details Items offered for sale on this bid include: 1. White Ledger Bales - 20 Tons, 42 Bales (price per ton) 2. #1 PET Non-Bales - 14,000 lbs., 32 Bales (price per lb.) 3. Newspaper Bales - 3.8 Tons, 6 Bales (price per ton) - Material weights and payment for materials purchased shall be based on weights recorded on a customer or commercial scale, as there is no scale available at NAS Fallon. If a commercial scale is used, it will be at the buyer’s expense. - Payment for the total amount moved under this sales agreement is due 30 days from date of invoice and must be made by bank draft or cashier’s check, payable to 'U.S. Treasury'. Cash payment will not be accepted. - All lots are sold 'as is' for recycling purposes only; all sales are final.
