Background The Marlinton Ranger District, part of the USDA Forest Service, is seeking to contract for landscaping services, specifically mowing, weed eating/trimming, and leaf blowing. The goal of this contract is to maintain the grounds of the Marlinton Ranger District Administrative Office, House, and Warehouse sites in accordance with the specifications outlined in the Statement of Work. This contract is set as a total small business set-aside and will cover a period from April 1, 2026, through March 31, 2031. Work Details The contractor will provide labor, materials, and equipment to perform mowing, weed eating/trimming, and leaf blowing services at the Marlinton Ranger District Administrative Office, House, and Warehouse sites. Services include: - Mowing and trimming around all buildings including bank areas, signs, trees, fences, and road culverts. - Maintaining employee and guest parking areas. - Edging sidewalks and flower beds for a neat appearance. - Removing organic debris from hardened surfaces such as sidewalks and entryways. - Proper disposal of lawn debris including leaves and large vegetation generated from mowing activities. - Seasonal leaf removal from ditches and hardened surfaces as needed during fall months. - The contractor must supply all labor and equipment necessary for these tasks while ensuring public safety and safeguarding government property. Period of Performance Base Period: April 1, 2026 - March 31, 2027; Option Year #1: April 1, 2027 - March 31, 2028; Option Year #2: April 1, 2028 - March 31, 2029; Option Year #3: April 1, 2029 - March 31, 2030; Option Year #4: April 1, 2030 - March 31, 2031.
