This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 127EAV26Q0029 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Monica Cabin Hantavirus Cleanup Cibola National Forest. Background The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is issuing solicitation number 127EAV26Q0029 as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the Monica Cabin Hantavirus Cleanup at Cibola National Forest. This acquisition is set aside 100% for small business concerns, with the goal of cleaning and disinfecting areas affected by hantavirus to ensure safety and compliance with health standards. The project is part of the USDA's mission to maintain and preserve national forest lands while ensuring public safety. Work Details The contractor shall perform the following tasks: 1. Remove and dispose of rodent droppings and any associated contaminated materials from two sites: (1) the Monica Cabin, an adobe house built in 1923, approximately 940 square feet, which has been evaluated as National Register eligible; (2) the pumphouse, which is 442 square feet. 2. Clean and disinfect all accessible surfaces in both locations, including opening cabinets and stove doors to ensure thorough sanitation. Period of Performance The total duration of this contract shall not exceed fifty (50) calendar days, with an estimated performance period from March 9, 2026, to April 28, 2026. Place of Performance Monica Cabin located at coordinates 33°57'25"N 107°29'47"W in Cibola National Forest, Magdalena Ranger District.
