Background The Product Test Center requires a high-power, high-performance microwave digestion system to prepare chemically resistant and complex sample matrices, including titanium alloys, cobalt, tungsten ores, and various steels for elemental analysis. This acquisition seeks to standardize the laboratory's digestion platforms to ensure operational interoperability and will supplement the existing Questron Vulcan S Uno digestor. Work Details The contractor shall provide a complete, 'turnkey' Questron QWave 1000 Watt Microwave Digestion System. This includes: 1. Core instrument 2. All necessary high-pressure vessels and accessories 3. Software 4. Delivery 5. On-site installation by a certified technician 6. System verification 7. Comprehensive operator training 8. Full warranty. **Performance Requirements:** - **Digestion Performance:** Must achieve complete and reproducible digestion of difficult materials (Titanium 6-4, tungsten ores, specialty steels) with clear solutions suitable for trace metals analysis. - **Throughput:** Capable of digesting at least 12 samples simultaneously. - **Safety:** Must include real-time temperature and pressure control, automatic microwave power adjustment, and a blast-resistant cavity door. - **Interoperability:** Fully compatible with existing Questron equipment ecosystem. **Deliverables:** 1.
