Background The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this solicitation for a firm fixed price commercial service contract aimed at ensuring the safety and functionality of fire alarm, fire suppression, and backflow systems at Mount Rainier National Park. The mission of the NPS includes protecting natural resources and providing safe environments for visitors, which necessitates regular inspection and maintenance of critical safety systems. The goal of this contract is to maintain compliance with safety standards and ensure the reliability of these systems. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Test and inspect fire alarms to ensure they are functioning correctly. 2. Test and inspect fire suppression systems to verify their operational readiness. 3. Test and inspect backflow devices to prevent contamination of potable water supplies. 4. Perform necessary repairs on fire alarm, fire suppression, and backflow devices as required. All work must be conducted in accordance with the attached Statement of Work and Specifications. Period of Performance The contract will commence on April 6, 2026, and conclude on April 5, 2027. There is an option for up to four additional years that may be exercised by the government. Place of Performance All work will be performed at Mount Rainier National Park.
