Background The contract is issued by the Child and Youth Programs at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JBMDL), which aims to provide quality recreational and developmental programs for children and youth. The goal of this contract is to deliver gymnastics instruction for children aged 1 to 10 years, enhancing their physical skills and promoting healthy activities. Work Details The contractor shall provide non-personal services in gymnastics instruction, which includes labor, transportation, supplies, and materials. The contractor must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in gymnastics instruction at an established facility. Classes will be held on Mondays or Fridays for 45 minutes, targeting children aged 1 to 8 years. The authorized class sizes are: - Mommy & Me class (ages 18 months-3) with a minimum of 10 and maximum of 16 students; - Little Hoppers class (ages 4-6) with a minimum of 10 and maximum of 16 students; - Youth Gymnastics class (ages 7-10) with a minimum of 10 and maximum of 16 students. If a course does not meet the minimum number of students by the registration deadline set by the Program Coordinator (POC), it will be suspended until the requirement is met. Classes can be postponed due to inclement weather or instructor illness, and make-up days will be offered as necessary. The contractor must notify students about cancellations and ensure all lessons start on time. The contractor is also responsible for maintaining confidentiality regarding student information.
