Background The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Nevada State Office is issuing this solicitation for the provision of portable toilets and handwashing stations at the Mesquite SEAT Base located at the Mesquite Municipal Airport. The purpose of this contract is to address the increased staffing needs during the fire season, which may fluctuate based on aircraft utilization. The goal is to ensure adequate sanitation facilities are available to support personnel working at the base. Work Details The contractor will provide portable toilets and handwashing stations as follows: - A minimum of 2 portable toilets and 1 handwashing station must be available throughout the contract period, with the potential to increase to 6 toilets and 3 handwashing stations depending on staffing levels. - At least one portable toilet must be ADA compliant. - Pumping service is required at least once per week for each unit, with increased servicing up to three times per week during periods of high fire activity. - The contractor must provide sanitary paper, soap, and paper towels for the handwashing stations. - Units must be staked down due to placement around aircraft, and proper disinfecting procedures must be followed when cleaning units. - A trash can with a lid for refuse disposal must also be provided by the vendor.
