Background The Bureau of Reclamation, Missouri Basin Regional Office, located in Billings, Montana, has a requirement for the supply and installation of a boom spray rig tender system on a skid. This system is essential for the Dakotas Area Office (DKAO) to mitigate noxious weeds in the Lake Tschida area of North Dakota. The current boom spray rig system is 31 years old and is attached to a 2011 Dodge Ram 3500 flatbed truck, which is considered Government-Furnished Property (GFP). The goal of this contract is to procure a new boom spray rig system, remove the outdated system, and install the new one onto the GFP. Work Details The contractor will provide a new boom spray rig system on a skid that includes the following specifications: - A 45-foot 3-point hydraulic folding boom sprayer with 20” nozzle spaces on center and drip-free nozzles. - TeeJet components including: - TeeJet 144P Direct electric control valve (12v, 30 watts or equal) - TeeJet QJ 312-500 Check Valve Nozzle Body Tee (or equal) - TeeJet 244 C ¾ electrical regulating valve (or equal) - Pump specifications: - Diaphragm/Centrifugal with permanent magnet motor PSGAN27 (or equal) - TeeJet AA126 Strainer rated for 200 psi (or equal) - Gas engine: Honda GX160 (5.5 HP or equal) - A dry pressure regulator and TeeJet 744E-5 with automatic ball control. - A 300-gallon UV resistant tank with drain. Additional components include: - A 200-foot hose with a diameter of ½ inch, manual hose reel, adjustable pattern spray wand, and skid designed to fit on a utility truck bed measuring 92” x 114”. The contractor will also be responsible for removing and disposing of the existing spray system from the GFP and installing the new system onto it. All components must be herbicide chemical resistant. Place of Performance The work will take place at the Bureau of Reclamation's facility located at 5680 Hwy 49 Elgin, North Dakota.
