Background The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to procure secure document destruction (shredding) services for the White City Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Centers and Clinics (SORCC) and surrounding Community Based Outreach Clinics (CBOCs). This contract aims to ensure the secure disposal of sensitive documents in compliance with federal regulations, thereby protecting patient information and maintaining confidentiality. Work Details The contractor will provide document destruction services, including: - Secure shredding of documents at the VA White City SORCC and surrounding CBOCs. - Management of 85 - 65-gallon totes and 2 - 32-gallon standard consoles at the VA Klamath Falls CBOC, as well as 1 - 32-gallon standard console at Grants Pass VA CBOC. - Services must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding document destruction. - The contractor is responsible for ensuring that all shredded materials are disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. - The service will be performed on a monthly basis throughout the contract period. Period of Performance The contract will have a base year starting from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027, with four additional option years extending through March 31, 2031. Place of Performance The primary location for performance will be at the Department of Veterans Affairs, VA White City SORCC, located at 8495 Crater Lake Hwy, White City, OR 97503.
