Work Details The contractor shall provide comprehensive Medical Physicist services for X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, Nuclear Medicine, Computerized Tomography (CT), and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment. Key tasks include: 1. Performing annual imaging equipment evaluations to ensure compliance with American College of Radiology (ACR) standards. 2. Conducting initial/baseline testing of new imaging equipment prior to clinical use. 3. Developing a technical quality assurance program for all modalities. 4. Providing shielding design calculations and verifying installation compliance. 5. Conducting semi-annual Nuclear Medicine Regulatory Compliance Audits at the Iron Mountain VA Medical Center. 6.
