Background The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is issuing this solicitation for the Ketchikan Flooring Project, which aims to replace the existing weathered flooring at Station Ketchikan. Work Details The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for floor leveling and installation of new Commercial Laminate flooring at Station Ketchikan. The work will be executed in three phases: Phase One includes the first hallway from the south entry to the administration building, galley/entertainment area, and XPO’s office; Phase Two covers the north hallway, training room, communication room, visiting area, and Berth 3; Phase Three involves female berthing, OIC office, and daylight berthing room. Key requirements include: 1. Removal of existing flooring in designated areas. 2. Preparation of substrates for new flooring installation. 3. Installation of approved Commercial Laminate flooring according to manufacturer’s instructions. 4. Coordination with the customer to minimize disruption during work phases.
