Background The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District Office is seeking to establish an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOC) for unanticipated shoaling hopper dredging services. The goal of this contract is to address shoaling issues in various deep draft channel projects along the Texas coast, which are critical for maintaining navigable waterways. Work Details The contract will involve hopper dredging services at multiple locations including: - Sabine-Neches Waterway in Jefferson County, TX and Cameron Parish, LA; - Galveston Harbor in Galveston County, TX; - Houston Ship Channel in Harris County, TX; - Texas City Ship Channel in Galveston County, TX; - Freeport Harbor in Brazoria County, TX; - Matagorda Ship Channel in Calhoun County, TX; - Corpus Christi Ship Channel; - Brazos Island Harbor in Cameron County, TX. Task Orders issued from established MATOC IDCs will be Firm-Fixed Price (FFP). The total capacity value of the contracts across all MATOC IDCs combined is $95 Million. Place of Performance The construction projects will be performed along the Texas coast at specified locations within the boundaries of the Galveston District.
