Background The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15, is issuing a solicitation for a VISN-wide contract focused on the leasing of various endoscopes and peripheral equipment. This contract aims to support the medical facilities within the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 15 by providing necessary equipment and services to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for leasing endoscopes and peripheral equipment, including but not limited to gastroscopes, colonoscopes, bronchoscopes, and associated accessories such as video monitors, flushing pumps, and electrosurgical generators. The scopes must be the latest technology available on the market with FDA approval and must support compatibility with the VA’s Endoscopic Information System (EIS). The contractor must ensure that all equipment is operationally compatible with ProVation MD software used for documentation in gastroenterology. Additionally, high-performance video filtering capabilities are required to assist in visualizing tissues during procedures. The contractor will also provide maintenance services for all leased equipment throughout the contract period. A joint inventory of equipment will be conducted biannually with a designated government representative. Place of Performance The services will be performed at various locations across VISN 15 facilities including Kansas City VAMC, Columbia VAMC, Topeka VAMC, Leavenworth VAMC, Wichita VAMC, St. Louis VAMC, Poplar Bluff VAMC, Cape Girardeau HCC, and Marion VAMC.
