Background The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District Office is issuing an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOC) for Pipeline Dredging services. The goal of this contract is to address shoaling in various deep and shallow draft channels along the Texas coast, enhancing navigation and safety in these waterways. The solicitation is open to both large and small businesses, with a total capacity value of $95 million across all MATOC IDCs combined. Work Details The contract will involve pipeline dredging services in multiple locations within the Galveston District, specifically targeting shoaling in the following areas: - Deep draft channels: - Sabine-Neches Waterway (Jefferson County, TX and Cameron Parish, LA) - Galveston Harbor (Galveston County, TX) - Houston Ship Channel (Harris County, TX) - Texas City Ship Channel (Galveston County, TX) - Freeport Harbor (Brazoria County, TX) - Matagorda Ship Channel (Calhoun County, TX) - Corpus Christi Ship Channel - Brazos Island Harbor (Cameron County, TX) - Shallow draft channels: - Gulf Intracoastal Waterway (GIWW) in Orange, Jefferson, Galveston, Matagorda, Calhoun, Aransas, Nueces, Kleberg, Kennedy & Cameron County, TX - Channel to Port Boliver (Galveston County, TX) - Cedar Bayou (Chambers County, TX) - Channel to Port Mansfield (Willacy County TX) - Victoria (Victoria County, TX) - Chocolate Bayou and Mouth of Colorado (Brazoria County, TX). Task Orders issued under this MATOC will be Firm-Fixed Price (FFP). Period of Performance The performance period for each MATOC IDC is five years with no option periods. Place of Performance The construction projects will be performed along the Texas coast in various counties including Jefferson, Cameron, Galveston, Harris, Brazoria, Calhoun, Aransas, Nueces, Kleberg and Kennedy.
