Background The Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) operates the Pine Ridge School (PRS), located within the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. PRS has identified a need for #2 Low Sulfur Red Dyed Diesel Fuel to be delivered on an as-needed basis to support its operations. The goal of this contract is to ensure a reliable supply of fuel for the school facilities. Work Details The contractor will provide 30,000 gallons of #2 Low Sulfur Red Dyed Diesel Fuel. Deliveries will be made to the following tanks: - Building #284 (Elementary School) with a capacity of 15,000 gallons - Building #303 (Kitchen/Dining Hall) with 8,000 gallons - Building #341 (High School) with 2,000 gallons. The contractor must monitor tank levels and deliver fuel within two days upon receiving urgent requests, typically requiring a five-day advance notice when levels reach ¼ or less. Deliveries are scheduled during regular school hours from Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, excluding federal holidays. The contractor is responsible for preventing and cleaning up any spills that occur during delivery and must comply with all safety regulations. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract is from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027. Place of Performance Deliveries will be made to Pine Ridge School located at 101 Thorpe Circle, Pine Ridge, SD 57770.
