Background The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) for construction services to rehabilitate Cedar Lodge Road at Badlands National Park. The goal of the contract is to enhance the roadway infrastructure within the park, ensuring safe access for visitors and maintenance operations. Work Details The work includes: 1. Replacement of existing granular surfaced roadway; 2. Minor grading; 3. Installation of 450 tons of new granular surfaced roadway; 4. Excavation of 3,200 cubic yards (CY) of material to be hauled to a park-provided soil waste disposal site; 5. Haul-on of 900 CY of material for the construction of an earthen berm.
