Background NASA Ames Research Center (ARC) has a requirement for analyzing safety reports and disseminating de-identified safety information regarding deficiencies in the operational performance of the National Airspace System under the Aviation Safety Reporting System (ASRS) and related reporting systems. This is a sole source modification to increase the contract ceiling awarded on February 16, 2026. A Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition (JOFOC) was prepared and approved for this action. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for analyzing safety reports and broadly disseminating de-identified safety information concerning current and potential deficiencies in the operational performance of the National Airspace System. The analysis will include evaluating proposals submitted by Booz Allen Hamilton to ensure that costs are fair and reasonable. Market research conducted in September 2025 indicated no other potential offerors capable of fulfilling these requirements, as no responses were received from a sources sought notice posted on Sam.gov. Additional research in various databases yielded no matches for vendors capable of providing similar services. Place of Performance The work will be performed at NASA Ames Research Center.
