Background The Marine Barracks Washington (MBW) is tasked with planning, coordinating, and providing transportation for high visibility events, including Evening Parades, Sunset Parades, Funerals, and White House events. The Motor Transportation Platoon at MBW requires a reliable electric vehicle (EV) charging solution to support their operations, particularly during events that necessitate a large number of vehicles. Work Details The contractor shall provide the following: 1. A portable 100 kW generator and a direct current electric vehicle charger with a minimum output of 60 kW that is compatible with the MCI J4500E Charge bus. 2. The charger and generator must meet the minimal environmental requirements for operation on Department of Defense (DOD) installations. 3. All logistical requirements including shipment of equipment, installation, on-site start-up, and commissioning must be covered by the contractor. 4. Basic operator training must be provided. 5. Maintenance technicians for routine and emergency maintenance must have access to military bases. Period of Performance All equipment must be fully delivered no later than 60 days after the date of contract.
