Summary

The Range Safety Group (RSG) of the Range Commanders Council (RCC) is excited to announce its Spring 2026 forum for Government and industry collaboration. The RSG seeks industry participation with the development of Range Safety standards for use at RSG member facilities. A current listing of Range Safety Standards is available: https://www.trmc.osd.mil/wiki/spaces/publicRCC/pages/113019888/300s The RSG seeks, where possible, solutions that follow the principles of the Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA). The goal of this activity is to maximize the interoperability of Range Safety systems and sub-systems to include Flight Termination Systems, Unmanned Safety Systems, Directed Energy, Tracking and Risk Assessment tools. Both General Session and separate committee breakout meetings will occur at scheduled times. The RCC/RSG intends to hold our meetings twice annually (Spring/Fall on a rotating host range basis, to include a tour). The RSG's Committees meetings will be open to Government, Contractor, and Vendor attendees, subject to proprietary and/or competition sensitive exclusions when applicable. Technical personnel are encouraged to attend and actively participate in the standards development/updating process and provide their actionable input and comments. This open collaboration meeting will be held April 28-29, 2026 at 08:45 CST which is being hosted by Space Launch Delta 45 at Patrick Space Force Base (PSFB) this Spring. Any additional meetings and/or other activities will be established and scheduled by the RSG.
