Background The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) is seeking quotes for the purchase and installation of Upfitting Services for an ITD owned Truck. The goal of this contract is to enhance the functionality of the truck through specialized upfitting services, ensuring it meets operational requirements. Work Details The contractor will provide comprehensive upfitting services for a 2025 International MV Series truck, including but not limited to: - Installation of a Miller Trailblazer 330 diesel welder - Gas welding system with oxy-acetylene bottles - A three-tank fluid dispensing system for hydraulic oil, engine oil, and engine coolant - A twelve-volt jump starting system. The installation must comply with specified standards regarding electrical and hydraulic systems, including proper routing and securing of hoses and cables. All components must meet industry standards for quality and safety. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for conducting a pre-delivery inspection (PDI) to ensure all installations meet ITD's specifications before delivery. Period of Performance The contract work must be completed within thirty (30) days after receiving the chassis from ITD. Place of Performance The work will be performed at the contractor's facility, with delivery back to ITD Headquarters located at 3311 W. State St., Boise, ID 83703. Bidder Requirements The contractor must have Garage Keepers Liability Insurance Coverage of no less than $500,000 at the time of award. Additionally, vendors must demonstrate compliance with all specifications outlined in the solicitation and provide satisfactory documentation that their offerings meet these requirements.
