Background The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking sources capable of providing dockside repairs for the Coast Guard Cutter (USCGC) ACTIVE (WMEC 618), which is homeported in Port Angeles, WA. The goal of this contract is to ensure the vessel is maintained in optimal condition through various repair and maintenance tasks. Work Details The scope of work includes dockside repairs for the USCGC ACTIVE (WMEC 618) and encompasses the following tasks: 1. Clean, inspect, and hydro seawater heat exchangers; 2. Commercial clean boiler exhaust stack uptakes; 3. Clean and flush chill water system; 4. Renew boilers; 5. Clean and inspect potable water pneumatic tanks; 6. Clean and inspect hot water accumulator tanks; 7. General overhaul of steering gear; 8. Inspect and service single point davit; 9. Renew sewage discharge and vacuum pumps; 10. Clean and inspect grey water holding tanks; 11. Clean and flush sewage piping; 12. Clean and flush grey water piping; 13. Preserve grey water holding tanks (partial - option item); 14. Provide temporary heating and cooling services (option item); 15. Replace whistle timer; 16. Preserve fan room decks; 17. Renew deck and bulkhead plating; 18. Renew steam system valves and piping; 19. Renew countermeasure washdown piping; 20. Renew engine flywheel disc coupling; 21. Renew interior wet deck covering; 22. Renew deck drain piping; 23. Clean lead dust from interior compartments; 24. Clean and overhaul ventilation systems; 25. Renew external watertight door. Period of Performance The anticipated period of performance is fifty-six (56) calendar days, starting on September 7, 2026, and ending on November 1, 2026. Place of Performance All work will be performed at the cutter’s homeport in Port Angeles, WA.
