Background The Naval Sea System Command, specifically the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division (NSWC-CR), is issuing a justification for the award of an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to Lockheed Martin Corporation. This contract aims to procure engineering services, test stand and equipment, repairs, and spares in support of the Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program (SEWIP) Block 2, also known as the AN/SLQ-32(V)6 System. The contract has a ceiling value of $249 million and is intended to enhance the capabilities of the Maritime Electronic Warfare Division (WXM). Work Details The contract will encompass the following tasks and services: - Procurement of AN/SLQ-32(V)6 supplies for Fleet Modernization Program (FMP) installation requirements; - Support for anticipated Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and Research Development Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) requirements; - Provision of spares and repairs including materials necessary for repairing, modifying, refurbishing, or replacing electronic, electrical, and mechanical components; - Handling software and firmware components; - Conducting associated testing, installation, and checkout. Approximately 81% of the contract scope will involve these supplies and services. Lockheed Martin Corporation is uniquely qualified due to their extensive empirical knowledge regarding the Block 2 system’s historical Fleet performance and their understanding of the system architecture.
