Background The contract is issued by the Oklahoma City–Air Logistics Complex (OC-ALC) at Tinker Air Force Base (AFB) with a focus on ensuring the operational readiness of critical laboratory equipment. The goal of this contract is to perform a one-time repair on the Oxford Electron Backscatter Detector (EBSD) and Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS) systems, which are essential for metallurgical analysis. Work Details The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, test equipment, materials, parts, quality control, transportation, and inspection manuals necessary to perform a one-time repair on the Oxford EBSD and EDS at Tinker AFB. The specific tasks include: 1. Performing a Pre-Contract Inspection (PCI) on the Oxford EDS - Ultim Max 170 and its Aztec acquisition software. 2. Repairing the Oxford EBSD - Symmetry S2 by replacing disconnected bottom forescatter imaging diodes and cover plate. 3. Ensuring all services and parts conform to manufacturer specifications as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). 4. Providing a written Estimate Repair Report detailing findings, required parts, costs, and estimated labor hours within one business day after inspection completion. 5. Completing any Over and Above (O&A) work discovered during repairs that is necessary to satisfactorily complete the contract. Place of Performance The work will be performed at Tinker Air Force Base (AFB), Oklahoma City.
