Background The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is seeking a contract for High Density Overlay Plywood to be used in fabricating highway signs. Work Details The contractor is required to supply High Density Overlay Plywood that meets the U.S. Product Standard PS-1-83 for Group 1 wood species, Grade B-B veneer, exterior type, high-density overlaid plywood. The specific items to be delivered include: - 3300 sheets of 5/8” x 4’ x 8’ HDO Plywood (MDOT Part #5405951) - 600 sheets of 5/8” x 4’ x 10’ HDO Plywood (MDOT Part #5405951) Deliveries will typically be made to the MDOT Central Warehouse located at 7575 Crowner Dr., Dimondale, MI 48821. All deliveries must occur within 90 calendar days from receipt of order, during business hours from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM EST. Period of Performance The contract will commence on April 1, 2026, and will continue for three years until March 31, 2029, with two additional one-year renewal options available. Place of Performance The primary location for delivery will be the MDOT Central Warehouse at 7575 Crowner Dr., Dimondale, MI 48821. Bidder Requirements Bidders must complete and submit a Confidential Treatment Form if they wish to protect any proprietary information. They must also comply with all state laws regarding labor and environmental standards. Additionally, bidders are encouraged to demonstrate their status as a Qualified Disabled Veteran/Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business if applicable.
