Background The Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) is seeking proposals for office wellness snack delivery services. The goal of this contract is to establish a firm-fixed-service charge price requirements contract with one qualified source for the procurement and delivery of fresh fruit and healthy individually packed snacks to various District locations. Work Details The contractor will furnish and deliver fresh fruits and healthy individually packed snacks, ensuring all fruit is of Grade A quality and American grown. The vendor must provide a variety of whole, cut, portioned packed, and other specialty items with a three-day turnaround time for standard items and a week for specialty items. Deliveries are to be made once per week between 7:00 AM and 12:00 PM. The vendor must include all fees/surcharges associated with delivery. Specific locations include: - Administration Building - Annex West - Victor Henderson Building - Operations Compound - Central City Office - Eagle Mountain Office - Waxahachie Pump Station - Cedar Creek Office - Richland Chambers Office Quantities for each location will be specified. Period of Performance The contract will be for a period of one year with the option to renew for up to four additional one-year periods. Prices must remain valid for the first full year of the contract. Place of Performance Deliveries will occur at various TRWD locations in Fort Worth, Texas, including: - 800 E Northside Drive - 804 E Northside Drive - 808 E Northside Drive - 600 E Northside Drive - 307 W 7th Street - Other specified addresses. Bidder Requirements Bidders must provide proof of insurance coverage as specified in the contract documents. They are also required to perform background checks on employees responsible for work related to this project at the expense of the District. Vendors must comply with all federal, state, and local laws applicable to the performance of services.
