Improvements to the 16th Street Miniature Golf Course

This notice is to inform that sealed proposals will be accepted by the City of Bayonne for the project titled 'Improvements to the 16th Street Miniature Golf Course'. The proposals will be publicly opened and read at the City Council Chambers located at City Hall, 630 Avenue C, Bayonne, New Jersey on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 11:30 AM local time. Bidders are encouraged to present their bids in person or through an authorized representative at the specified time. The project involves site clearing, design, and construction of a new miniature golf course, which includes fencing, curbing, and all necessary work as outlined in the bid documents to ensure a fully operational facility as directed by the City Engineer. Prospective bidders can examine or obtain the Instructions to Bidders, Specifications, and Proposal Form at the Office of the City Engineer, c/o Center State Engineering, located at 481 Spotswood-Englishtown Rd, Monroe Township, NJ, during business hours from 9 AM to 4 PM. Additionally, documents can be requested electronically via email at Bids@CenterStateEngineering.com until 48 hours before the bid opening. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes addressed to the Purchasing Agent of Bayonne, clearly marked on the top right-hand side with the words 'Public Bid', followed by 'Improvements to the 16th Street Miniature Golf Course', and the date and time of the bid opening. If bids are mailed or sent via courier, they must be placed in an outer envelope that is similarly marked. All bids must be delivered to the office of the Purchasing Agent, Room 29, 630 Avenue C, Bayonne, NJ, between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM prior to the bid opening, and no earlier than 48 hours before. Each bid must include a certified or cashier's check for at least 10% of the bid amount, not exceeding $20,000, as a guarantee for contract execution and performance bond provision. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of the deposit. A bid bond may be used in place of the check. Bidders must comply with New Jersey laws regarding public works projects, including registration with the Department of Labor and submission of proof of business registration. The successful bidder will need to adhere to the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act and safety regulations. Bids cannot be withdrawn for 60 days after the opening date. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids if deemed necessary.
