Background The Kershaw County School District (KCSD) is seeking qualified offerors to provide Substitute Teachers and Various Miscellaneous Staffing. Work Details The contractor will provide substitute teachers for grades Pre-K through 12, instructional assistants, tutors, and other necessary staff. Key responsibilities include: - Recruiting and training candidates; - Acting as the employer for all payroll and benefits; - Developing a customized recruiting strategy; - Screening candidates for compliance with state laws and district policies; - Providing training on various topics including school safety and classroom management; - Utilizing a vendor system for scheduling; - Ensuring a fill rate of at least 95%; - Ongoing recruitment to meet daily vacancy rates; - Providing dispatch services from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; - Submitting detailed monthly invoices that include specific information about each assignment.
