THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. A DETERMINATION NOT TO COMPETE THE PROPOSED PROCUREMENT BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE IS SOLELY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT. Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole-source, firm fixed price contract, to Sensia LLC. A Justification and Approval has been prepared. The period of performance is estimated to be March 10, 2026 to March 17, 2026. PSNS & IMF requires Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to provide preventative maintenance for Cameron Tech Flow Transducers and Flow Computers All components/parts of the Flow Transducers and Flow Computers are proprietary to the OEM. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities, in a quote. To do so, respond to this requirement no later than March 6th, 2026 12:00 PM, PST. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses will be considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this notice of intent, the Government shall determine if a solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FOR N4523A26Q0011 in the subject line. All documents submitted will not be returned. The capability documentation should include general information and technical background describing in detail the prospective contractor's capabilities and experience that will demonstrate the ability to support these requirements.
Background Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) intends to award a sole-source, firm fixed price contract to Sensia LLC for preventative maintenance of Cameron Tech Flow Transducers and Flow Computers. The agency's mission is to ensure the operational readiness of naval vessels, and this contract aims to maintain critical flow measurement equipment essential for ship operations. All components and parts of the Flow Transducers and Flow Computers are proprietary to the OEM. Work Details The contractor will perform troubleshooting and repair of installed Universal Flowmeters, specifically focusing on: - Troubleshooting and repairing faults with flow computers and transducer assemblies. - Calibration and setup of equipment for proper operation. - Providing guidance on calibration, adjustment of flowmeters, necessary software updates, and adjustments to the flow computers. - Observing operation of the flow indication system and diagnosing causes of errant readings from local and remote indicators. - Coordinating with TRFB production shops to correct discrepancies identified during system operation. Deliverables include: 1. On-site demonstration and training for installation and setup of flow transducer assemblies/flow computers. 2. A Completion Report submitted no later than 5 days after completion date (CDRL A001, DI-MGMT-82061). Period of Performance March 10, 2026 to March 17, 2026.
