This is a Sources Sought only. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is conducting market research to determine if there are any vendors, regardless of business size, that can provide Home Oxygen services and Ventilation, in accordance with The Joint Commission (TJC) or equivalent standards, to Veteran Beneficiaries serviced by VA Northern California Healthcare System (VANCHCS)(See attached PWS). There is no solicitation document as this time. The NAICS is 532283 with Small Business size of $41 Million. NOTE: Please ensure that System for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov) indicates this NAICS code if you are interested in the requirement. The acquisition aims to address the lack of capacity within VANCHCS to provide these essential services, ensuring compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) or equivalent standards. Work Details The contract includes the setup, installation, and management of Home Oxygen Services and Ventilation for Veterans. Key components include: - **Home Oxygen Services**: Provision of home oxygen therapy, including equipment such as concentrators, tanks, and related supplies. - **Ventilation Services**: Provision of ventilators and associated respiratory equipment (e.g., C-PAP/Bi-Level nebulizers). - **Equipment Requirements**: All equipment must meet TJC standards and include items like oxygen concentrators, portable gaseous systems, liquid oxygen systems, and backup systems. - **Supplies**: Continuous supply of oxygen cannulas, masks, tubing, humidifiers, and other necessary accessories. - **Emergency Services**: 24/7 emergency service capability with a response time within 30 minutes for emergency calls. - **Patient Education**: Comprehensive training for patients on the use of equipment and safety protocols. - **Performance Monitoring**: Regular assessments and documentation of patient compliance with prescribed therapies.
