Background The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking competitive proposals for a five-year contract for Safety, Analytical and Technical Support Services (SATSS) II. This acquisition is tied to the Sources Sought Announcement 6073GH-24-R-00180 issued on July 3, 2024. The goal of the contract is to provide mission-critical and time-sensitive support services through a combination of Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) and Time and Materials (T&M) delivery orders. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing all personnel, management, technical supervision, and other necessary items and services to successfully perform tasks defined in the Statement of Work (SOW). Key tasks include: 1. Program and Project Management Support; 2. Program and Analytical Support; 3. Technical and Analytical Support; 4. Safety Management System (SMS) Support; 5. Surveillance and Broadcast Services (SBS) Support; 6. Performance Based Navigation (PBN) Support; 7. Data Communications/Aeronautical Communications Support; 8. Aviation Weather Program Activities Support; 9. Low Visibility Operation Support; 10. Flight Procedures Support; 11. Flight Simulation and Safety Analysis Support; 12. Unmanned Aircraft Systems Integration Office (UASIO) Support. The contractor must also ensure compliance with emergency procedures at FAA facilities, participate in emergency exercises, and maintain records management as per FAA regulations. Period of Performance The contract will have a base period from August 20, 2026, to August 19, 2027, with four one-year option periods extending through August 19, 2031. Place of Performance The services will primarily be performed at FAA facilities including the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, OK.
