Background The Government requires one full-time Digital Fires System Engineer (DFSE) to provide on-site technical support to the III Armored Corps Fire Support Element at Fort Hood, Texas. This contract aims to fill the critical capability gap created by the Army's cessation of Field Service Representatives effective 05 December 2025. The III Armored Corps Fire Support Element supports the Corps’ mission by coordinating and integrating fires to enable decisive operations, ensuring operational readiness and integration of digital fire support systems. Work Details The DFSE will provide daily technical expertise for the loading, configuration, integration, operation, maintenance, and enhancement of digital fire support systems. Key tasks include: responding to support requests within 2 hours during duty hours (0800-1700, Monday-Friday), resolving 90% of technical issues within 24 hours, delivering a minimum of 20 contact hours of technical instruction monthly, maintaining operational readiness of all assigned digital fire support systems, and submitting monthly status reports by the 5th workday of each month. The systems supported include AFATDS/AXS, JADOCS/JTIC2S, PF-D/PF-M, LFED/PFED, MFCS, MMC-S, JETS/LLDR and FS3, and various Tactical Radios. Period of Performance Base Period: 11 March 2026 – 10 March 2027; Option Period 1: 11 March 2027 – 10 March 2028; Option Period 2: 11 March 2028 – 10 March 2029; Option Period 3: 11 March 2029 – 10 March 2030; Option Period 4: 11 March 2030 – 10 March 2031. Place of Performance III Armored Corps Headquarters, Fort Hood, TX, and other Temporary Duty (TDY) locations as required to support the mission.
