Background The Morris County Park Commission is seeking bids from qualified vendors to provide janitorial services at various locations managed by the commission in Morris County, New Jersey. The goal of this contract is to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across all facilities, ensuring they are presentable and hygienic for public use. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing all personnel, supervision, vehicles, cleaning agents, supplies, and equipment necessary for comprehensive janitorial services. The services include but are not limited to: 1. Daily cleaning tasks such as emptying waste receptacles, cleaning and disinfecting sinks and toilets, mopping floors, and maintaining cleanliness of glass surfaces. 2. Specific locations include: - LOT 1: Bamboo Brook Outdoor Education Center/Public Restroom (170 Longview Road, Far Hills, NJ) - ~36 ft²; scheduled for cleaning once a week on Fridays. - LOT 2A: Willowwood Arboretum/Public Restroom (300 Longview Road, Far Hills, NJ) - ~39 ft²; also scheduled for once a week on Fridays. 3. Each site must be maintained in a neat and orderly condition with specific tasks outlined for each visit. Period of Performance The contract will commence on April 1, 2026, and will run for an initial term of one year until March 31, 2027. There is an option to extend the contract for up to three additional one-year terms based on funding availability. Place of Performance Services will be performed at various locations managed by the Morris County Park Commission in Morris County, New Jersey. Bidder Requirements Bidders must comply with New Jersey's affirmative action provisions and submit required documentation including a Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Statement of Corporate Ownership. A bid bond of 10% of the total bid amount is required along with proof of insurance coverage.
