Background The Bureau of Reclamation, part of the Lower Colorado Region, is issuing this contract for the purchase, delivery, and stockpiling of Aggregate Base Course (ABC) material at a designated site within the Imperial National Wildlife Refuge. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the necessary gravel material is available for use in various reclamation projects, supporting the agency's mission to manage water resources and protect wildlife habitats. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for: 1. Purchasing, delivering, and stockpiling Aggregate Base Course (ABC) material into a designated Reclamation stockpile site. 2. Providing certified weight tickets for each delivery detailing the weight of the material. 3. Ensuring that all materials meet specific gradation requirements as outlined in Table 1 below: - SIEVE DESIGNATION: 1 ¼ In. - 100% - 1 In. - 60 - 100% - ½ In. - 30 – 65% - No. 4 - 20 – 50% - No. 10 - 15 - 40% - No. 40 - 5 – 25% - No. 200 - 0 – 8% 4. Conducting sampling and testing by an independent laboratory prior to delivery to ensure compliance with contract specifications. Period of Performance Work must be completed within 120 calendar days from the date of notice of award. Place of Performance The stockpile site is located in the Cibola National Wildlife Refuge, approximately 45 minutes south of Blythe, California, with GPS coordinates at approximately 33°20'00.01"N, 114°41'48.36"W.
