Background The government is seeking interested and capable contractors to provide Fire Extinguisher Maintenance services in accordance with the draft Statement of Work. This requirement is for informational and planning purposes only, and it does not constitute a solicitation or commitment by the Government. Work Details The contractor shall perform service on portable (ABC/BC/K/CO2) and wheeled (150lb aircraft) fire extinguishers owned by all MXG facilities on Fairchild AFB, Washington. Services include: 1. Annual inspections in accordance with NFPA 10 and tagging each extinguisher with inspection details. 2. Providing a computer-generated updated listing of inspected extinguishers including type, manufacturer, model number, size, serial number, date of manufacture, last hydrostatic test date, and annual inspection date. 3. Hydrostatic testing as outlined in Appendix 1. 4. Maintenance and recharging including parts and labor to keep extinguishers serviceable up to specified limits ($25 for portable extinguishers; $150 for wheeled extinguishers). 5. Six-year maintenance and twelve-year hydrostatic testing as per NFPA standards. 6. Coordination with MXG Programs and Resources for scheduling inspections and repairs. 7. Compliance with all state/federal laws and NFPA standards during service performance. Place of Performance All inspections and minor maintenance will be accomplished at 301 W. Arnold St, Building 2050, Fairchild AFB WA 99011.
