Background The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this solicitation for Housekeeping Equipment Preventive Maintenance and Repair Services at the G.V. Sonny Montgomery VAMC in Jackson, Mississippi. The goal of the contract is to ensure the continuous operation of housekeeping equipment through scheduled preventative maintenance and necessary repairs, supporting the mission of providing high-quality care to veterans. Work Details The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, supervision, transportation, administration, parts, and materials necessary for repairs and scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) for housekeeping equipment. Specific tasks include: 1) Performing PM checks according to OEM recommendations; 2) Providing replacement parts for non-routine PM checks; 3) Responding to standard service requests within four business hours and emergency requests within four hours; 4) Conducting monthly site inspections; 5) Providing individual service reports within ten business days after maintenance/service; 6) Ensuring all personnel are qualified and possess necessary certifications; 7) Maintaining an internal record-keeping system for work performed; 8) Providing proof of annual calibration for gauging and measurement equipment used; 9) Protecting VAMC property from damage during work and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
