Background The U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons is issuing this combined synopsis/solicitation for milk and dairy items to be delivered to the United States Penitentiary Canaan in Waymart, PA. The goal of this contract is to fulfill the quarterly requirements for various milk and dairy products as part of the food services provided to inmates. Work Details The contract requires the delivery of the following items on a weekly basis from April 1, 2026, through June 30, 2026: - Dairy, Milk, Pasteurized, Nonfat, Skim or Fat Free, No Flavor: 24,000 half-pint containers per week (totaling approximately 312,000 half-pints for the quarter). - Dairy, Cream, Pasteurized Sour Cream (Reduced Fat or Low-fat): 5-pound containers with an estimated total of 65 containers for the quarter. - Dairy, Cottage Cheese (Cultured or Acidified): 5-pound containers with an estimated total of 65 containers for the quarter.
