Background The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is issuing this solicitation for the KFFO Post Harvest Stand Exams to support its mission of managing public lands for multiple uses while ensuring the health of the environment. The goal of this contract is to conduct post-harvest stand exams in the Klamath Falls Resource Area, Oregon, to gather critical data on forest health and regeneration following timber harvest activities. Work Details The contractor will perform post-harvest stand exams using the BLM EcoSurvey program. Tasks include: - Conducting variable plots with a 20 Basal Area Factor (BAF) and fixed plots measuring 15.2 feet and 11.8 feet; - Recording new survey information such as project name, unit/survey ID, and survey location; - Documenting tree species, live/dead status, diameter at breast height (DBH), and height; - Collecting sapling data including species, live/dead status, DBH, and height; - Estimating seedling counts by species and height. All data must be recorded accurately and submitted to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) via email or electronic media. Period of Performance The contract will be performed from May 1, 2026, to October 31, 2028. Place of Performance Klamath Falls Resource Area, Oregon.
