Background The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Arcata Field Office (CASO) is seeking to procure pumping services for vault toilets located at the King Range National Conservation Area and Arcata Field Office. The contract aims to ensure proper sanitation services at various campgrounds and day-use sites, aligning with the agency's mission to manage public lands for multiple uses while protecting the environment. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for pumping services at a total of 24 vault toilets: 10 located at four campgrounds in the King Range National Conservation Area and 14 located at seven day-use sites managed by the Arcata Field Office. The work includes: - Regular pumping of vault toilets to maintain sanitation standards. - Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations regarding waste management. - Coordination with BLM personnel for scheduling and access to sites. - Provision of emergency pumping services as needed during the contract period. Period of Performance The contract will commence on March 9, 2026, and continue through March 8, 2031, covering a base period and four optional years. Place of Performance Services will be performed at the King Range National Conservation Area's campgrounds and Arcata Field Office's day-use sites located in California.
