Background The contract is issued by the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) to provide support for the Submarine Peculiar Special & Support Equipment (PSSE) Program. The goal is to enhance the operational readiness of U.S. Naval submarines through effective management and maintenance of PSSE, which is critical for submarine operations. The contractor will support various naval commands including Commander, Naval Submarine Force Atlantic (COMSUBLANT) and Submarine Squadrons Six and Eight. Work Details The contractor shall provide technical support services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) to deliver PSSE support. Key tasks include: 1) Providing PSSE Program Engineering Services, advising on life cycle costs, and collecting condition reports; 2) Conducting periodic site assessments and submitting reports; 3) Maintaining a master schedule of PSSE needs and technical manuals; 4) Collaborating with maintenance activities to resolve technical issues; 5) Conducting bi-weekly program updates; 6) Providing project management and QA support for PSSE equipment; 7) Logistic support including obtaining materials for maintenance and shipping requirements; 8) Ensuring timely backfill of vacant positions within 14 days; 9) Developing a transition plan to minimize work interruptions during contract transitions. Period of Performance The contract period of performance is from July 22, 2026, to July 21, 2031. Place of Performance Work will be performed at the contractor's facility, on U.S. Naval Ships in port and underway, in Navy public and commercial shipyards, at various contractor sites, and U.S. Naval facilities. It is anticipated that approximately 95% of work will occur at Government sites.
