Work Details The contractor will be responsible for all parts, labor, and materials necessary to replace and restore the underground lawn irrigation sprinkler system in an area measuring approximately 60’x 115’. The work includes: - Installation of current model components from manufacturers such as Rainbird, Hunter, Toro, or Orbit. - Ensuring 100% head-to-head coverage with appropriate irrigation lines that maintain optimal working pressure. - Installation of waterline tracing tape over supply lines to prevent future damage. - Use of a mixture of rotary and fan-type sprinkler heads based on placement needs. - Installation of a new valve box and controller. - Provision of a complete system drawing upon project completion showing all components and electronics. - Full testing of electronics, valves, and sprinklers with adjustments made to prevent overshooting sidewalks or buildings. - Prior marking of underground utilities by the contractor with full responsibility for any damages incurred during work phases. - A minimum one-year warranty on parts must be included. Period of Performance The estimated period for repairs and installation is 45 working days, with work expected to occur primarily outside normal business hours (0730-1600) unless it does not impact patient or staff services.
