Background The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this solicitation for debris removal services at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park (HAVO) following an eruption. The goal of the contract is to restore affected areas to safe and serviceable conditions in accordance with applicable industry standards and safety practices. Work Details The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and other necessary items to perform professional debris removal services. Specific tasks include: 1. Remove debris and pressure wash roofs and gutters at 43 locations within Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. 2. Option 1: Pressure wash building exteriors at the same locations. 3. Option 2: Remove debris from paved surfaces at the same locations. 4. Option 3: Remove debris from grounds at the same locations. Additionally, contractors must conduct invasive species inspections for all commercial vehicles entering the park, with costs associated with any necessary remediation actions borne by the contractor. Period of Performance The anticipated period of performance is from April 1, 2026, to June 30, 2026, with specific tasks expected to be completed by April 30, 2026.
