House Removal

The South Dakota Department of Transportation is seeking bids for the removal of a house, decking, and a storage shed located at 470 Leisinger Lane in Custer. The total area for removal is 686 sq. ft. for the house and 112 sq. ft. for the shed. The house is a single-story structure with two bedrooms and one bathroom, built in 1945, featuring wood lap siding and a metal gable roof. Interested bidders can contact Jay at 605-673-4948 to view the interior of the house. The successful bidder will receive the house via Bill of Sale, and the removal must be completed down to the concrete foundation by November 1, 2026. The deadline for expressing interest in removal is March 12, 2026. Bidders should send their removal offers to the South Dakota Department of Transportation, attention Scott Pretzer, at 700 E.
