Statement of Requirement

Masticate multiple acres of brush to make way for reforestation efforts within the coming years. Most of the project area consists of brush that can be mulched by most industrial mowing implements. For the purposes of this contract the terms mow and mastication are used interchangeably. Brush out Roads and ditch per specifications to improve driving conditions and reach units with ease. Equipment: Contractor shall furnish: 1) Type 2 Excavator, minimum 111 HP & 30,000 pounds, with forestry grousers, and operator; 2) Mower with mastication head, and operator. Operators shall have sufficient skill and experience to perform the work as specified. See Attachment 3 Statement of Work for further information.
