Background The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is responsible for maintaining and ensuring the safety of various infrastructure, including pressure vessels and boilers. This contract aims to conduct inspections and testing of pressure vessels and boilers at the Newt-Graham Lock and Dam and the Robert S. Kerr Marine Terminal locations to comply with statutory and regulatory requirements. Work Details The contractor will perform inspections of pressure vessels and boilers in accordance with ASME, NBIC, and local standards, as well as applicable codes, ordinances, statutes, and regulations. The following tasks are included: - Conduct thorough inspections of pressure vessels and boilers at specified locations. - Prepare a detailed report post-inspection that includes: - References to any applicable violations found during the inspection. - An assessment of the general condition of the inspected items concerning public safety. - The current date when the inspection was conducted. - Note that items related to operations, maintenance, or performance will not be included in the report. - Ensure that necessary preparation of equipment for inspection is managed solely by USACE. Place of Performance Inspections will take place at the Newt-Graham Lock and Dam and Robert S. Kerr Marine Terminal locations.
