Work Details The selected Writing Coach will provide services that include: 1) Strengthening Instructional Practices in Writing by improving the quality and consistency of writing instruction through embedded coaching and professional learning; 2) Developing and implementing a coaching plan aligned with district curriculum and state standards; 3) Providing 18 full-day in-school coaching sessions, including co-teaching, modeling, and feedback cycles; 4) Supporting teachers in using data to drive instruction; 5) Collaborating with teachers to design targeted writing interventions; 6) Developing exemplary writing tasks and rubrics; 7) Providing a final report summarizing student growth and instructional shifts; 8) Building teacher capacity for sustainable writing instruction through individualized coaching plans and professional development workshops; 9) Aligning writing instruction with curriculum and equity goals by integrating diverse texts and providing guidance for Multilingual Learners. Period of Performance The contract term is for the 2025-2026 school year, with an option for two additional one-year extensions at the Board's discretion. Place of Performance Services will be performed within the Bridgeton Public School District, specifically at various school locations as determined by the district. Bidder Requirements Respondents must demonstrate experience providing similar services to other districts. They are required to submit a detailed narrative of qualifications, a business registration certificate from New Jersey, and comply with affirmative action requirements.
