Your participation/responses to this sources sought are very valuable to our office and we appreciate your time. Please provide the following information: 1. If these projects were solicited at one time and/or combined into one project, 6 buildings total, do you have the capacity to complete all roofs in 365 calendar days? Background The project is initiated by the government agency responsible for the maintenance and repair of facilities at F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The primary goal of this contract is to replace the roofing systems of six buildings that have sustained storm damage, ensuring compliance with environmental standards and building codes. The contractor is expected to adhere to specific installation guidelines and use materials that meet sustainability criteria. Work Details The contractor will perform the following tasks: - Demolish existing PVC/BUR roofing systems down to the roof deck. - Install a new fully adhered PVC membrane roofing system as specified. - Ensure all materials are new and of high quality. - Comply with Green Procurement mandates. - Dispose of waste according to regulations. - Verify site conditions before starting work. - Conduct inspections throughout the project. Specific requirements include: 1. Roof Type 1 (Bldgs. 325, 332, 1164, 1292): Install a 96 mil fully adhered PVC membrane system including insulation, vapor barriers, and necessary accessories. 2. Roof Type 2 (Bldg. 34): Install an 80 mil fully adhered PVC membrane system with similar specifications as above but lighter weight. 3. For Bldg. 1164: Hire a lightning protection engineer to assess and modify the existing lightning protection system as needed. 4. Conduct inspections for deck integrity and make repairs as necessary before covering with new materials. 5. Ensure compliance with warranty requirements from the primary roofing membrane manufacturer. Period of Performance The performance period for this project will be 180 days, commencing within 10 business days after notice to proceed (NTP).
