Background The Morris County Park Commission (MCPC) is seeking bids for HVAC/Refrigeration Contractor Services for its facilities located in Morris County, New Jersey. The goal of this contract is to engage a contractor specializing in HVAC and refrigeration services to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of these systems across various park commission facilities. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for repairing, reinforcing, rehabilitating, stabilizing, upgrading, or replacing existing HVAC and refrigeration systems. This includes performing new installations as necessary. The contractor must comply with all architectural documents and specifications provided by MCPC. The work may involve both interior and exterior applications throughout the Park Commission’s facilities and parks as directed by the Owner’s Manager of Buildings and Construction or designee. The contractor must possess a valid New Jersey HVAC/Refrigeration license and current Confined Space Certificates. Period of Performance The contract term will be one year, commencing on April 1, 2026, and ending on March 31, 2027. There are options for two additional one-year renewals at the discretion of the Park Commission. Place of Performance The services will be performed at various facilities managed by the Morris County Park Commission located in Morris County, New Jersey. Bidder Requirements Bidders must possess a valid Public Works Contractor Registration Certificate at the time of bid submission. They must also comply with the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act and submit certified payroll records as required. Additionally, bidders must provide a Non-Collusion Affidavit and comply with affirmative action provisions as per N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq.
